I’m not very good at knitting but have knitted some basic stuff in the past, I found it kept my hands busy and out of the biscuit tin during the dark winter nights.
I knitted some Fairisle style Christmas cushion covers in 2019 and ended up with tennis elbow for 18 months so I’m a bit wary of knitting again. It maybe wasn’t the knitting that caused it but it certainly wasn’t tennis, that’s for sure! I am in awe of the amazing knitting and crochet skills of fellow dibbers, the work that must go in to these projects is amazing |

You all seem to be very clever. Is it easy to crochet? I would love to try but I haven’t got a clue. I can’t knit either!

I started by watching Bella Coco youtube videos.
Start with a chunky wool and a large hook. Its easier to learn the process with those. And just keep practicing and it becomes second nature 🙂

Thanks, I’ll take a look. Do you think a blanket is too optimistic for a beginner?

I’ve just bought the wool for a baby shawl I’ll be taking it to Antigua and Florida and I’ll be visiting my favorite wool store when in Florida for one of their afternoon tea chat and knitting/ crochet slots
