I don’t believe that should have happened. Move on to the next Bond, re boot, re brand, ride off into the sunset yes but why do what they did? That’s all I’m thinking
about rather than what an amazing Bond it was. It wasn’t a fitting end. They ended him. Bond shouldn't die. Simple.

As for the end credits. That’s always written at the end of Bond films

I 100% agree with what you said, I don’t see how they can continue with the franchise having done what they did. I believe this is why Danny Boyle walked away from it as he said killing Bond was ridiculous. In fact, I’m struggling to come to terms with it.

Totally agree. I heard the rumour ages ago about the Danny Boyle situation but never knew if he wanted ********* or it was the producers. I think we've now found out why he left.

Just back from seeing it ,absolutely loved it ,but my god did I leave my seat on one bit ! Very sad ending but loved the film x

Went last night, thought it was superb and didn’t have a problem with the ending.

This is not going to go down well for a Scot to say but Daniel Craig is my favourite Bond, i think he’s been absolutely superb in the role.

I can’t get to grips with it. Been a Bond fan all my life, Bond was the only character that could get himself out of any situation no matter how ludicrous it was. That was what made him for me and one of the great joys of a Bond film. Yes things move on and the world changes but can’t we just have one thing that doesn’t change?

I do realise I need to get a grip, he’s a fictional character but James Bond just shouldn’t die!


Agreed that DC was phenomenal Bond.

Agreed that DC was phenomenal Bond.
 

But we don’t actually see him die. We see the missiles strike close by and i assume we’re meant to think he died. Either way, he’ll be back.

With regards to your spoiler quote, my dh came up with a whole theory last night about this and how to start the next movie. I was quite impressed.
I also agree that DC has been a fantastic Bond.

well he said about how they had mentioned if the blast doors weren’t open then the bombs wouldn’t blow it up, also that they had tracers put in his blood. He reckons that maybe at the last minute they closed again and he was beneath them. He thinks the next movie will start with his blood tracker bleeping and they will realise he isn’t dead. I have to be honest in that I’m struggling to work out how they will move forward. If he actually is dead then none of the cast can move forward as they are all in this Bonds timeline.
