Finally getting our new kitchen - follow along
Morning everyone,
Today is day one of our kitchen refit. The current kitchen was fitted by my dads friend, sadly my dad died before he could fit it for us 14 years ago! We’ve lived with it and moaned about it for THAT long, but this year finally decided to get it all done! So this thread will follow it along, the ups and downs. It was supposed to be fitted at the end of august but our builder had a heart attack (he’s ok now) but I joked that this kitchen is cursed. So here are the before pictures…..the gap next to the washing machine was where the dishwasher was. I sold it the day before the refit was cancelled in august so have been dishwasherless with 2 kiddos. Not fun 🤣.    |

Its deceptive. Up close it was awful. Upstands were glued to the wall, cupboards held together with nails…..it looked ok in photos, but couldn’t look closely at it.
