How do Virgin release miles seats?

Hi,

So I just wondered if anyone knows how Virgin release their miles seats? I'm hoping for something in October for Edi-Mco. There's decent availability up until around mid August at the moment but nothing beyond. Do they tend to release the next few days/week at a time or a whole load or day by day?

I check all the time anyway (daft as our flights aren't even out yet) but just wondered.

I can only speak for LHR but they are loading a day at a time at the moment. Outbound18th August 2022 was released this morning (albeit UC only). If EDI is following the pattern that I think it is, then you should see Saturday August 20th 2022 outbound load on Sunday morning.

Fab, thanks so much, I'll keep an eye on the trend. I'm surprised by the amount on offer for Edi so hoping it continues!

I have a seat spy alert but a few times I've found seats a wee while before my email has come out. Definitely worth having though, it's a massive help!

How do you know the August dates are the one's currently available? I've done a search for September and i've been given some options up to mid-Sept. They are more points than I thought it was for September (50,000 vs 25,000 on their rewards chart) but therefore I'm confused!
We can only afford 2022 if we use our points, so keen to understand more.

Thanks for your help.

I'm looking for September too and so far they only seem to be indirect flights that are always a lot more points than direct flights.

Going it is direct, but coming home it is via Atlanta. These are the only options I could find, but I didn't understand why they would show me those, if the Orlando flights haven't been released. I wasn't clear why some routes are out for September but not LHR - MCO or MAN - MCO.
