The Aristocrats. We always went with the whole school in the last week before Christmas. Back in the 70s the theatre had enough seating for us all. We had a choc ice too. So exciting! Especially as we couldn't afford to go to the cinema when I was young, it was such a treat.

In secondary school one year it was James Bond- Moonraker, we all felt so grown up at the switch from animated film to live action.

Simple pleasures.

Jaws. Scared me to death

Does anyone remember when you got to see 2 films for the price you paid?

The Lion King in 1992 or 1993. I made my dad buy me a huge box of popcorn because it had Mufasa on the box, then cried when he made me throw the empty box away at the end of the film 😂

Grease, but I’m not sure it was the first, just the first I remember.
