Fantasmic dining

Thinking of booking the Fantasmic dining but not sure to book Hollywood and Vine or Mama Melrose, don’t really need to see characters but the pasta dishes at Mama Melrose seem a bit boring, what are your thoughts? Xx

I thought the food at Mama Melrose was lovely. If you're not bothered about the characters I'd skip H&V - the food is ok but not worth going for itself.

We're thinking of doing the package with Mama Melrose on our next visit. Last year we did it with the Hollywood Brown Derby. This is normally one of favourite restaurants but we found the whole experience there very disappointing. Loved Fantasmic though.

We are doing MM Fantasmic for the 2nd time this year. The steak and cheese pasta was amazing, I really hope it is again as it’s worth it just for that, plus the seats at Fantasmic are great. 😋

They recommend it if it's busy, but we usually go about 30 mins beforehand and never had a bad seat

We are doing Mama Melrose for a second time when we go at the end of this month. We loved it! When we first went in 2017 you could choose a starter or a foccacia. We each went for a focaccia and it was huge! Then had the chicken parmesan that was lovely. We didn't like the trio of mini desserts they give you but I've read you can ask for ice cream instead

We got great seats 20mins before with the package. We did H and V- food was good (not our favourite meal but couldn't fault it) but if you don't want characters( who were fab) I'd go Mama Melrose.
