Healthy Brunch

Hi All

We are going to Florida 4th October for two weeks, 8 days at the parks and 6 days on the coast (Sarasota and Naples). Can anyone recommend any nice breakfast/lunch places which use healthy, fresh ingredients and some lower calorie options (thank your typical american breakfast)

I am going to say sweet tomatoes again... we love the place, fresh veggies - baked potatoes - soups - salads - fresh bread etc

Look at signing up on their website and they always send vouchers...family of 4 for $32 etc...great value for as much healthy stuff as you want

Some branches do a Sunday Brunch. I’ve never tried it (yet) but I’m sure they will have healthy options.

Three of the Rosen hotels (see below) on or near Int Drive have fab breakfast buffets, open until about 11am. All have healthy options such as scrambled eggs, omelettes, fresh fruit, yogurts. Toast, bagels, fruit juice, cereals and skimmed milk. Sometimes also ‘continental’ - sliced meats and cheeses.

Might be a decent alternative.

The 3 hotels I have eaten at are: Rosen Plaza, Rosen Centre and Rosen Shingle Creek. I don’t know if the other Rosen hotels/motels have the same choice/quality of food.

The Diner on Universal Boulevard. Excellent choice and has the option to make all meals healthy. Plenty of choice and server breakfast and lunch anytime of day. Small independent place and staff fantastic.
