The Secret Garden

We have recently got engaged and have decided to get married whilst we are on holiday next August. It will only be the 2 of and our son who will be 6 years. We are looking at the secret garden as it looks perfect for what we want. Has anyone booked here or got married there. How far away is It from Disney as we will be staying at Port Orleans.

Hello. Congratulations on your recent engagement.
We got married at The Secret Garden in May this year. We were staying at AKL and I think we estimated an hour travel (we went by taxi) and even though we were running a little late they were fine with it. We had a great day and both Gary and Marti were wonderful, the garden itself is gorgeous.

We are so pleased we chose the Secret Garden, it was so easy to book too 😀

Congratulations on your wedding. We have booked for next August so good to hear your day went so well.
Do you mind me asking how much the taxi cost and who you booked it with as that is what we are planning too. We don't want the stress of trying to find it ourselves!

Thank you 😀 Well, we booked the Taxi at our hotel that morning, however I started getting restless when it hadn't turned up dead on time and another taxi driver arrived and offered to take us. I cannot remember exactly but I think it may have been around $100 for the trip? It seems a lot but with how cheap the actual ceremony was we didn't mind.
I think that you can book taxis through Mears in advance which may be useful.
Happy to answer anymore questions 😀 It is all exciting sorting out wedding bits and pieces (especially a small wedding)
