Anyone booked with Thomson on their big discount day?
We are looking to book a Disney Cruise for next summer to the Bahamas. Just popped into Thomson and they told us they are having a Disney cruise sale on 24th Sept and they will definitely be discounting prices. Feels too good to be true? Like it was a bit perfectly timed.
Anyone been through Thomson before? Anyone had a Thomson discount before? Many thanks all!

I can tell you that DCL do not allow for discounted cruises so Thompson are using it as a loss leader if they do it cheaper.
So, if you book a package with them, your flight prices may be slightly higher, or insurance, or something else ... it's like milk in a supermarket - they sell for less than they buy it for as it encourages you to buy other stuff at raised prices. Personally, I would book direct with DCL if you want to pay in ££££, or with a US TA if you don't mind paying in $$$$. No regular cruiser with DCL would recommend booking with a UK travel agent as the T&Cs are just no good and can cause many problems. Why not have a look at the price now (cheapest prices have already been and gone unfortunately), then pop in on the 24th and get them to quote you for cruise only (no insurance, no transfers) in the same category. Joa
