10 days That Turned Into 2 Weeks
Hello everyone,
I was hoping you could give me a bit of guidance/support/reassurance. We originally booked to stay offside for 10 days from 27th September to 7th October however called Thomson and sorted out a deal to stay for 2 weeks. The initial plan (can you see how much this has changed?!) was to only visit Disney however our eldest son has just rediscovered Harry Potter and is desperate to go. We can only really afford to buy 1 day tickets to HS and IOA so we'll be purchasing these tickets online when we're there. Our eldest son is autistic and finds crowds quite difficult so we've tried to come up with a plan that eases both our boys in and also gives them more time in the park they want the most - Epcot. Day 1 - Arrive at approx. 3pm. Find something to eat and sleep. Day 2 - Trip to Walmart for food in the villa and a day in the pool Day 3 - Epcot for opening at 0900 and staying as long as possible. Maybe use Monorail to go to Magic Kingdom Day 4 - Nothing planned for the morning. Showcase of Citrus tour at 1600. Day 5 - Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure Day 6 - Blizzard Beach - Possibly evening at Magic Kingdom for Fireworks Day 7 - Typhoon Lagoon - Possibly evening at Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom depending on how tired the boys are Day 8 - Trip to International Drive to the "upside down building" Day 9 - Magic Kingdom all day Day 10 - Epcot Afternoon/Evening Day 11 - Nothing planned Day 12 - Animal Kingdom - All day Day 13 - Hollywood Studios - All day Day 14 - Nothing planned Does this plan sound any good at all? I've tried to arrange it with the busy day guide as much as possible. Thanks in advance. Edited at 11:16 PM. |

Having Dinner with Goofy
|
Have you been before? I wouldn't do full days in a park. For us we go to a park early and when we have enough we go back to the hotel / pool and chill for a few hours. Then late afternoon / evening we go back (normally to a different park). It's a bit more relaxing and less tiring this way rather then spending full days in the park.
Also, we use water parks as our rest days or park in the morning, shopping in the afternoon. You don't meantion Disney Springs; it's a lovely place to go for a stroll around (during the day will be much quieter so it might be a better time to go). Have a lovely trip! Xx |
