Question Is Universal super busy at weekends?

Hiya,

We are staying onsite in Disney for 2 weeks but going to book one night in Universal hotel to get FOLP passes and do Universal for 2 days. Just wondering if Universal is super busy at weekends? Will it make much difference what day we do it as we will have FOLP?

Thanks

As long as there isn't a special occasion it's pretty tolerable at weekends - most standby queues were 45-60 mins at most for the big rides. With express passes we got on most rides after 10-15 mins. (based on Sunday 13th April 2017)

My experience is Universal is usually only busy on weekends. It is much more of a locals park becuase I think a reswident's annual pass is quite cheap. You will probably be fine with a FOTL pass.

If you have FOLP it shouldn't matter so much what day of the week you visit as you shouldn't be waiting longer than 15-20 minutes at most!

It is going to be busier at the weekend than any other day. If I had two weeks in Disney and could go to Universal any two days within that, I would not pick the weekend.
