Anyone used Princess?
They have some good prices for next year. Only £99 for 3rd and 4th passenger.

Used them a couple of times - really good. Perhaps attracts a slightly older passenger (we are in our early 60s) but not stuffy and still a good mix of families and couples.

Hi Bev, I am taking my Mum on a Princess Cruise to the Fjords next July for her 75th birthday. Although I haven't sailed with them before, I have read very positive things about the food on board, service etc. They seem really family friendly too although that isn't relevant for Mum and I next year. I hope the age group is mixed as I'm mid 40's and my Mum is a very youthful seventy something

Hi, my inlaws have been on 2 cruises with princess and have really enjoyed them both.
They said there was a mix of families and older groups and they wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.

We took our then 14 year old and we all loved it. Great food and entertainment. Lovely ship. Would definitely recommend.

We've done two cruises with Princess and by coincidence both on the Emerald. 2013 to the Caribbean out of Fort Lauderdale and then 2014 to the Canaries from Southampton. Only the two of us in our late 60's but we were perfectly pleased with them.
The only slight downside to the Canaries one was that the shore excursions were not very imaginative and quite limited in choice. As I've just retired from 50 years of wearing a suit and tie for work I never pack them for any holiday. The DJ certainly stays at home. Consequently we tend to eat most of our meals in the buffet restaurants - but that's our personal choice on any cruise ship. We always have balcony cabins whoever we've been with. One of the attractions of cruising for us is opening the curtains to a new port every morning - apart from the "at sea" days of course. Mick
