Itinerary and switch over help for Dec?
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Our first full day will be a sat, any parks to avoid at weekends? staying at animal kingdom lodge for first week then on to cabana bay resort for the 2nd week. Any tips for switch over? Thought we could do sea world on our changeover day- does anyone think that's a good/bad idea? Or better to get to new hotel early? Thanks in advance, we've been before but not since 2010 so things have changed and not done a split stay or stayed on site anywhere before.

Check the busy days guide, it lists the best parks to visit each day

Only thing I would say is the busy day guides get used a lot, generally disney is pretty full on all the time lately from various trips others have taken.
CHange over day, providing you don't have any food (this could go off in the car), going to a park should be fine. We always try and pack as we go along, that way no huge rush to get out, empty both suitcases when we arrive, as we are going a long, dirt clothes into one, pop clean stuff back in the other case when you leave. This worked quite well for us when we did a road trip around florida. |
