The all sorts trip day 7 Rome and traveling around

Today our frist proper day here . I was up at 4:30 nothing new in that my frist thought was no cat 🐱 on the bed 😂 then I came round and though you silly 😜 so and so . I washed dressed and left a note for Maria then spoke to the lady on the desk I tryed what litt Italian I. Know

she said I did very good (just hi how are you) she said very few people asked how the staff our . We spoke a little in English she asked me where I was from in the uk 🇬🇧 I told her as I had one of my five Dibb t shirts 👚 on she asked about the site so I told do her .she said her and her husband and little girl where thinking of going but her little girl aged 9 don't like flying when I said what about train she said you can not go to Paris direct I said no but you can go to Milan change then go to Paris then across on the metro 🚋 I said on Monday me and my partner where.doing the route .i said I show you so I came back to the room and got our paperwork for Disney and went back and showed how . She was so pleased she came around to my side of the desk and hugged me nice way to start the day a 🤗 from another pretty lady

. I came back and Maria was awake and up and dressed so we went out and walked to the train staion frist stop colosseum on the metro line . There 2 metro lines in Rome a and b . The metro was very bizzy just like London

but never mind we found the staion and walked across to the entrance there where a few people there. We paid our money and went in .that place is incredible the history of it what was done in it and to it one of my life anbitions was to go there I am so pleased we did. Here are some pics.n

We left the colosseum and headed backwards to the main railway staion then caught the Vatican 🇻🇦 metro line . Got off at the staion it was a little walk but we got to the entrance of Vatican City .the cue for the Vatican was over 4 hours long so we did not bother but I did take some pictures of the square

We then headed back to the metro 🚋 then back to the main railway staion then back to our room for a rest and a 🥘 pizza 🍕 today 😂 there is a coop shop just near us so we went in there the drinks our cheaper then at the staion so we brought a few things for the room as we had a fridge . After our brake we headed out . The this place called eat Italy 🇮🇹 I always wanted to go there so that's where we went so gland we the smell the food (it's like a massive supermarket but it got lots,of little places all selling fresh food ) I loved it thee so happy I managed to have a look around

We headed back to the hotel back at 9 and bed by 10

How nice to chat to the staff at your hotel. Something we all probably forget to do. Nice.
Another great day and lovely to see that history. Awesome that it has survived so long and is still enthralling people.

Many thanks and yes people forget to talk to the staff I all ways try to say hi .
