Suit query

Hi

My son is getting married in October in Orlando, can anyone tell me if he would be able to carry his suit on the plane in a suit holder as hand luggage instead of a box? We are flying with Thomson premium?

not sure to be honest I just put my suit in the suitcase in the suit holder but I do travel light so it wasn't squashed my DW used a box for her dress and this could be taken on aswell as the hand luggage. we flew virgin and once they found out we was getting married upgraded our luggage to premium so it would be one of the first off the plane
