Two burgers in a day, even before you get to US. Start as you mean to go on!

We stay there but we only live in Yorkshire. I don't fancy the extra travel involved to look for cheaper flights from down South.

Love Isabella's list and I think your Sears family trip reports will be safe hands for years to come!

Aside from the view and the late opening Costa it was a nice Premier Inn. The traffic was a real pain, hope it's no the same in October

Traffic is always a pain when you have somewhere exciting to be and you just want an easy, straight forward journey! We stayed in that hotel last year, it was a good base - but can't remember which side of the road we were on!

Looking forward to reading your next days

Also: helmet. *snigger*
It's funny how there are two hotels sharing the same carpark, and they're the same brand. We're staying at the other one next time, I'm interested to see if there's any difference!

I know someone would laugh at 'helmet'

It's hard to make a drive North interesting but you've done it!

Wise use of the word crash in the motorcycle helmet story 😂
Did I? I didn't mean to

Yes, it was a very difficult sentence to write!

Shame you didn't make the Traff, maybe next time.
We've booked that Premier Inn before our November trip (even though we only live half an hour from Manchester airport ) I like to start my holiday as early as possible! The Radisson Blu is so handy with its link bridge but at £160 for 1 night, bit pricey!
Isabella' s TR - heart meltingly cute.
Jo came up with the TR title

We like staying overnight beforehand as it means less stress in the morning.

I'll soon be able to pass on trip report writing to Isabella

Love Isabella's list and trip report writing. She's getting on so well 👍🏻

I was pleased to see that the jelly and ice cream didn't come on the pizza 🍕 🤢

I hate getting stuck in traffic when it's holiday time 😡 We recently got stuck getting down to Devon, 7hrs instead of 4, so I can feel your pain!

Looking forward to reading more

TFS
Isabella is a planner like her mum

I was also pleased that the jelly and ice cream didn't come on the pizza!

Holiday traffic is the worst!

The signs for the two hotels are quite well marked so you should be fine.

Can't wait to read along x
Hitchin is bitchin' (according to a t-shirt a colleague of mine once had).

Hotel food was good - the wine was even better

Thanks for following on IG and reading my TR

We went the day before you and stayed in Premier Inn - Manchester Heald Green, which was nice but we were directly on the flight path and our room didn't have AC/triple glazed windows so was a little disruptive. You made the better choice with booking Premier Inn - Runger Lane North!
Sorry to hear about your hotel; Runger Lane for you next time?!

I don't think we'll do it again - although we are doing it next time - so no, not worth it
