If you're not morning people, go with the BDG. No sense in forcing yourselves to be up and out early if it's not your thing, you'll just end up tired and miserable.

I AM a morning person but only planning to use one EMH as it's the only one that fitted in the schedule. I'm not using the day by day guides either - I used them a lot to choose which week to go, then chose where to go each day by where I wanted.

I stayed onsite and used a mixture of both. For us, we found the evening EMH worked better for us.

If you're going to make rope drop on the EMH days (there waiting when the park opens) then I say choose EMH. Once you miss that early head start the quieter park day comes into consideration imho
