Hi, when we land in the afternoon, we always go to Walmart, lol to stock up on drinks and food for the room. We then go for a meal. This April we landed in the evening around 7.30ish, so went to the hotel and stayed there. Next April we land around 6pm so not sure what we'll do. I don't sleep much on the plane and my sleeping pattern is always really off with the 8hr difference until the start of the 2nd week I always crash around 8pm at first, although as we arrived after 7 this year, I was awake till about 9.30/10pm but not very coherent, lol!

We go to the hotel, freshen up and then go out for a walk on the strip just to soak up some of the sights. We usually go for something to eat close to whatever hotel we're staying at, go for a bit of a flutter in the casino and then to bed for about 9-10pm.
We're always up early the first morning and it's lovely to get out into the sunshine while the strip is still quiet. |

I never manage to sleep on the plane 😭
We usually unpack, have a wander onto the strip, eat at Panda Express and then back to hotel and sleep around 9/10. I'm usually up at stupid o'clock too. Last time 3am! |

We usually go to the hotel unpack a bit get changed and go out to eat and wander around .
Even when the kids were little I kept them up till 9/10pm then they slept properly the first night . Takes me 3/4 nights to adjust though waking lots and up at 3/4 am which is why I no longer go for a week I start to feel human and it's home time . None of us ever sleep on the plane going out . |

Hotel, unpack, get our bearings in hotel (ie, find coffee shop) then wander out onto the strip to find something to eat and try to keep going until 10pm at the earliest.
Try to win big on a slot machine. This last part invariably fails... |

We arrive, unpack, freshen up, go out for walk/explore/food. Back to hotel, few hours sleep, set alarm to get up (it's hard but worth it), shower, dressed and out for our first night in Vegas. Redbulls and power kick keeps us awake as well as the oxygen in the casinos. First night this is year we were still up and eating steak and eggs at 4:30am before we went to bed.
Got us into the time zone straight away. Never sleep on plane going out but do coming home. |

Stay awake as long as possible. Find food and have a wander to get our bearings.

Get to hotel, freshen up. Don't take the urge to have a nap. Stay up as late as possible( around 9/10pm ish we feel really tired. Have a wander round hotel/ familiarise and maybe a short wander on the strip and something to eat. Never sleep on the plane. First time we went to Vegas, we kept waking up every 2/3 hours and did not settle into a proper sleep pattern until about day four.

I don't sleep on the plane either, not a problem for hubby though! He'd sleep anywhere! We'll try & stay up as late as we can, then up early next morning! What do you do that early in the day? We'll prob be out & about for 7am! Was thinking doing the LV sign at this time, would it be busy at that hour?
