DAS and AAP
Hi
So todays the day! I’m off to Florida, My DAs is all set up, I’ll let use know how I get on using it and also I plan on using AAP in universal I have had this many times before and have all my documents to prove why I need one, they always take it off me and read it and take forever to decide. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and I will let you all know how I get on

It worked out so well.
I done 1 day at Disney, i prearranged my 2 advance options before i went which worked out well, i planned to be in Hollywood Studios all day however... i couldn't stand the heat and business. the Das worked really well, i was allowed in at 8.30 as i stayed on site for the night before, and i rebooked rise of resistance at 9am as soon as it was available, it was ready for 11am i was then able to book my next ride they went by so quick and worked really well for me, as i could sit in the shade until my next ride. I have epilepsy and my seizures are brought on by stress, tiredness and overheated and this is exactly what was happening during the day. I was able to go to guest services and add park hopper to my pass and i left to head to magic kingdom as soon as i arrived and scanned my magicband i was able to book another ride in MK on my das, i done 3 more rides there and headed to AK, to be honest this was the coolest park out of them all, i think it was the trees that made me feel cooler, again DAS worked as soon as i scanned in. one thing that was annoying was it only worked on wifi and it was dodgy in some places, but overall i think the new system is 100% more better in choosing rides and being able to move yourself around it throughout the day. it really helped me and will be using it again. So Universal...Now that was great too, the ride times whilst i was there was low from like 5-20 mintues for all rides but hagrids, with the AAP i was able to go in the express lane, i also had problems with my knees so was able to use the lift when needed also As i was travelling by myself i think this worked out really well for my trip, i took it really slow and enjoyed my time there over the 9 days.

The flaky wifi was the only downside to using the app, the coverage is really rubbish in some areas of the park. Funnily enough wherever there is a mobile food ordering location the wifi is fine...
We got on really well with the DAS and the option at Universal. Very relaxing. |
