We are the Millers - Our first trip with Martha. Day 11

We woke at 7.30am today, it was test day. I think I forgot to mention but a couple of days after we had heard the news of having to test to go home, I saw a Curative trailor at the Hawaiin Rumble site next to our hotel. We popped over and asked them about it. Apparently, it was free PCR testing, open to everyone including non US Citizens and we were welcome to book a slot whenever and they would provide a certificate showing results.

We thought it was a bit too good to be true & knew other people had paid $125 ish at sites along Idrive but we thought we may as well try our luck. We did have slots booked at the Premiut Outlets site for tomorrow if for some reason Verifly didn't accept the certificates from here.

We all did trial LFT at the apartment just for peace of mind to know none of us were positive and then we made a booking and set off for the trailer. It was so easy, we had filled in a few details to get the appointment and then when there they just scanned a QR code on and sent us to the testing table with a test kit. The lady wprking there just told us what to do, timed us for the 30 minutes of nose rotations and then we popped our tests in a bag & posted them through the back of the trailer.

We popped into Dollar Tree next & stocked up on lots of sweets for the plane journey home.

We were pckish by this point and it was nearly midday so we set off for food, As we hadn't got there the other day, we went for Buffalo Wild Wings, choosing the one on Idrive closest to SeaWorld.

Edith had bought a sticker book from Dollar Tree and she had fun playing with it on the way. Absolutely died laughing when I turned around and saw her

We shared a portion of cheese curds, these are the best & both girls loved them too. I then had a chicken wrap, Aaron had wings and Laura had the cauliflower wings. We got some chicken for Edith. Seems I only got a photo of the curds, bad Dibber!

The food was good & while we were sat there we all had negative results come through to our phones. And breath! Honestly, it was quite stresfull having to test to return. We had no idea what we would have done had one of us got a positive result.

With that news in the bag, we popped back to the room as we had promised Edith some decent pool time. Martha & Laura napped while Aaron and I took Edith for a swim. All our tests got approved on Verifly while we were swimming so we were fully able to relax. I cancelled our appointments at the Premium outlet place and was very thankful that the additional $125 each wasn't required.

Back in the room, I bathed the kids & got them ready for bed as tonight, Aaron and I were off out on our own again and Laura was staying in with the girls.

We had ummed and ahhed about where to go and finally decided last minute on heading tot he Boardwalk and then trying our luck at Hollywood Studios as we had a couple of rides there we really wanted to get on.

We called an Uber and got dropped at the Boardwalk villas. Gosh this place is beautiful! The Christmas decorations were up and it looked so stunning. A dream accommodation place for sure!

We fancied a drink so tried to get a table at the Big River Grill but it was really busy, they did find us 2 seats at the bar but it was all too squished in & busy so we left. We came upon the Abracadabar next, this place was more like it! I really don;t knwo how I have never heard of this place before. There were a few tables spare and we were told to take a seat at any & that it was table service. Well we loved it here, so beautiful, a realy luxury feel and the servcie was great too. We had a 3 gorgeous cocktails each & then ordered one of the Margarita pizzas. All absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for an adults only drink, I am so pleased we found it.

We could have stayed here all night but Hollywood Studios was calling us so we head out and managed to time it just right for one of the boats. We got into HS just after 8pm and so had one very valuable hour to do as much as we could.

We grabbed a quick photopass and then head over to Terror Towers which although it said a 10 minute wait was a complete walk on.

I wanted to ride again but Aaron was keen to get Rock n Roller done too so we head over there. That was about a 15 minute wait but so worth it, we got Dude Looks Like a Lady & the ride was fantastic as usual. We had about 20 minutes left in the park by this point so we hot footed it over to Toy Story Mania and queued for about 15 minutes for a ride. We felt bad riding without Edith as she would have loved this but we also took our chance & really enjoyed it! The last part where its continuous shooting didn't work for us but as we were the last ride of the day I didn't dare say anythign to the castmembers, it was still such a fun ride.

We went back to the Boardwalk on the boat, getting off at the Swan & Dolphin and walking over the bridge.

We saw the EPCOT fireworks at this point and it was a great place to watch them from. We then head to the Ice Cream place on the Boardwalk & got an incredible sundea which we sat and ate. We had butter pecan and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge sauce and warm marshmallow. So good!

We got an Uber back from the Boardwalk and head straight to bed after what was a fantastic night.

Phew, the tests are out of the way, what a relief. Love the stickers! That's so cute. And a great evening of cocktails and fun at HS. I didn't know Abracadabar did food...that's really good to know as we're staying at boardwalk for part of our trip this summer.

Isn’t amazing to have the opportunity of a evening off from being a parent, only thing is Paul and I are now relieving our daughter, don’t know how that happened so quickly
