We were there this morning and did pirates, thunder mountain, haunted mansion and little mermaid before 11. Then it got too busy and you felt crowded out and even the teacups were 25mins. One thing to note is the stated wait times are not correct, not even close, when it states 10-15 minutes it’s at least double.

Left at 1pm and the longest queu of the day was waiting for the monorail

That’s interesting to read. I’ve not seen that before. Up to now, most people have said the posted wait times had tended to be exaggerated. Some have even claimed Disney was inflating the wait times in order to sell more Genie+ and ILLS.

Yep I’d agree everything I’ve seen and a load of YouTube videos generally suggest it is over exaggerated rather than under.

We went back to MK yesterday evening for the fireworks and DH suggested going on POTC with a posted wait of 40 mins we ended up waiting 80 mins and when we came out it was still showing 40 mins and yes you’re right about the food outlets and shops too they’re packed.
We left Epcot around 2 today and came back to the hotel as it was so busy

We arrived yesterday and did HS today and said it felt at least as busy as when we were here over Xmas, maybe even worse! We couldn’t even get into the legacy Star Wars shop to pick up my sons crystal, there was a massive queue where as at Xmas we just walked right in!

We’ve found Hollywood Studios to be the busiest park although it does seem better in the evening

Epcot was a doddle today. We did 21450 steps and rode everything including Ratatouille which was saying a 60 min wait but was more like 40. Soarin twice, Test Track and all the small rides. Never do Frozen as I’m not lining up to get soaked!

Our favourite park to stroll round at our leisure.
21k steps deserves a feet up and beer / wine in the evening!
Be there next week Wed and Thu 😀

For info, if you don’t actually want to buy a legacy lightsaber they’ll let you skip the queue. We did that on Thursday as my sister wanted another khyber crystal.

It seems to be the strategy that would work is up early for park opening, back for a rest then back out in the evening to take advantage of later lightening lane bookings and possibly shorter wait times. Sadly that doesn’t suit the way we like to do things. FP plus suited is well as we could arrange FP at times that suited us. We would hit parks early at the start of the trip when we were jet lagged and get most rides done then as the holiday went on use the FP to do our favourites again. As it was this trip we rode FoP and ROTR multiple times but had to set the alarm for 7am and pay for the privilege. We didn’t get to do a lot of rides we normally would have.
