Not sure about deals but I’d try to avoid weekends (Saturday especially) it seemed to change the cost of my package quite a bit when I changed a Saturday night to a Sunday night stay at RPR (similar time of year) .

I have just booked RPR with Booking.com. Looked at 10th August and 15th August as start dates -the later prices were a lot less. Might want to have a play around. Also, for some reason Portofino Bay was coming up cheaper but DH wanted to stick with RPR.

I booked with Travel Republic around this time last year for our trip in July 22- they were offering the best price at the time with a small fully refundable deposit. After I booked they had a bank holiday offer a few weeks later that took a % off the price so I cancelled and rebooked.

It’ll be because the standard rooms were sold out at RPR but not at Portofino.

We’re going with ESR - Dockside this time. It’s really reasonably priced - no matter who you book with. I’ll probably go with TR for the low deposit option!

We booked with Travel Republic for this September. We had an excellent price and only a £15 deposit so may be worth a look!

The premium universal hotels are coming in at around £700 per night for next Easter. We booked using travel republic so we only pay £15 dep, then can either accept that price or hopefully if it comes down, cancel and rebook at the lower price.

If you are going for FOLP just be aware not all universal hotels offer this. British Airways are worth looking at I have booked HRH a couple of times with them
