As you are travelling from Northern Ireland I would think it would be acceptable but maybe check with your airline? Nowhere on the CDC site does it say the pre travel test has to be taken in the country from which your flight originates afaik.

Only until just now,I haven't heard anyone check the code of lft.

Maybe it's down to the amount of people you got testing at anyone time whether they have time to ask for it and re check it

Just had 2 appointments with them, one for the kids then us (different advisers). They seemed to want to make sure we did the process correctly, making sure my 7 year old went back in to completed the 10 seconds, (although tbf you put the swab into the tube out of the camera so its not policed as such), but our camera/light at the time isn't the best anyway, when they took photos but i doubt you could see more than the test and the persons face. No bar-codes were asked for and we didn't write anything on the tests and it was all pretty friendly/ professional.

Another thumbs up from us, super easy and were very accommodating for my autistic son who really didn’t want anything up his nose!
So off we go tomorrow!

Four negatives here. Dochq were great, although it wouldn’t work on my iPad on chrome. Had to switch to my laptop so we were a bit late for the call.
No problems. She checked the boxes were sealed, definitely looked at us doing the test but didn’t take any number or codes from the test strips.
Left us for about 10 and then checked passport numbers and dob. Then took a photo of us holding up the negative tests. She waited until we had the the certs through.

All very easy

Four negatives here too.

Its a bit of a farce imo,yes they observed but could hardly see anything, didn't take any details from the test and the lady was very a matter of fact.

Looked like she just wanted rid of us tbh 🤣.We even tried to make sure our little girls were going fully up and doing it properly and she wasn't bothered at all.Bur hey,it's all done and was very easy.

Side note, the flowflex tests are so much easier to use than the NHS ones, for my youngest, who had difficulties with the NHS tests, breezed through with these. They appear slightly softer and larger and less cumbersome to use.
