God knows why I like it, there's some lovely views and the forest which I take for granted, it's easy to get into London but I haven't been on a tube for 2 years and property prices are awful. However I have great neighbours, a group of friends, better than average GP surgery, nice dentist, a fabulous hairdresser, friendly beautician and I know lots of people so it's feels like home.

Born in East London, moved to Essex when I was 25, lived there for 25+ years, we now live in South Devon, about 15 minutes from Salcombe and about 30 minutes from Bigbury/Burgh Island...
We overlook a Ria/river... its a nice place to live, but going to any big shops is practically a day out, went to Matalan the other day that's nearly an hours run, similar to M&S etc, we only have very small local shops here, which sell some lovely stuff, but they are expensive, plus the food shops are what I call designer deli's, you know £7.00 for 2 slices of ham We do have a very small Morrisons and Tescos, with not a lot of choice... I do like living here, but sometimes I do want to get back to a bit more hustle and bustle etc |

We live just outside Dunfermline and love all the legacies gifted to the town by Andrew Carnegie plus we have the Abbey and our new city status.

I overlook the river Thames in Thurrock, Essex, so have some great views of sunsets and different ships and boats. We even get the odd plane going into Heathrow like a rouge Emirates 380 the other week
The only downside is fog horns early in the day when visibility is poor |

We moved to Devon back in November from Essex to a town just outside of Plymouth, absolutely love it, we have amazing beach’s and Dartmoor a few miles up the road. Even most of Cornwall is doable as a day trip. We have a great day at Perranporth yesterday.
