Had some Travel supplier training last night and Birmingham airport was there
The main thing they want us to tell our clients is to NOT get to the airport any earlier than they usually would as people getting there hours before check in opens is making the problem worse

While I understand this it is surly the other way round, the airports need to up their game in order for the queues to diminish and the passengers stop turning up early.
No one with any sense is going to only leave two hours while things are as they are. Next meeting feedback that the airports need to start thinking in a different way! |

She said they have the staff now it’s just a case of so much inexperience and training needed They both insisted that turning up at usual time would ease the issue But yeah you don’t want to be one of a few doing it and risk it Catch 22 I guess
