easyJet issues!

Help from anyone savvy with airline rules/regs.

We are getting married next week abroad. Some of our guests are flying with easyJet who are having some kind of meltdown as we can see in the news.
They have moved the flights from Thursday am to Friday pm which would actually mean the guests arrive after the wedding! They have booked a package holiday with hotel included.

What rights do they have?
They have been told no Wednesday flights available and no refund which cannot be right surely?

Surely that is classed as a major change and should be refunded if requested

I would have thought so. Other issue is that flights are now �1300 for the original days with other airlines - which is more than they paid for the whole holiday...

If there are no easyJet flights available to get you to your destination within 24 hours, you have the option to transfer to another airline, take a train, bus or hire a car.
