Paid balance, but...

My friend and i have just paid for our holiday . Both soooo excited but i still cant 100% enjoy it because of the dreaded LFT test before we go . Really does knock the edge off the build up doesnt it !

Awful. I couldn�t sleep for days before our recent holiday worrying about the test. Really hope they scrap it soon!

I have the money in my account to pay off my balance but it�s not the exciting feeling it should be! I�m keeping hold of it until deadline day.
I�m still excited to be finally going back after a 12 year absence but it could be better!

Yeah know what you mean. We fly out on the 18th and the looming tests are really putting a dampener on things. I plan to go into a self imposed quarantine - well as much possible - next weekend to reduce the chances of a positive test.

I was never one for excitedly counting down from day 100 or anything, but it does change the run up yes, there is a kind of uncertainty hanging over it.

But fingers crossed, testing will have ended by the time you go. I had covid about a month before my recent trip so that also helped to end uncertainty as I knew that I was both very unlikely to get it again and in any case there was the recovery certificate option. If you do get it between now and travel, make sure you log a test to keep that option open just in case.
