Still got to pick up my turkey and a few other bits from booths tomorrow & a few more presents to wrap! Cleaning to be done still as well as working out my Christmas dinner timings. Unfortunately a cold has set me back the last few days

Hopefully by the end of tomorrow I will have these things sorted & feel better!

I finished work today, DH tomorrow DD all finished at school..Food shopping and turkey collection are the big jobs for tomorrow and then on Xmas Eve, tidy through, table and veg prep etc

I'm so not ready! My Heston's Cracking Penny seems to be a figment of my imagination as it doesn't seem to be in stock and didn't come with my Waitrose order. I also cannot find it instore. My Semifreddo also didn't turn up. The house is awash with 'stuff' all over the place. I'm hoping order will prevail tomorrow as I'm Working from home till the big day. Somehow I have to go from feeling shattered, to super organised in two days! Wish me luck

I finished work last Wednesday and it has been non-stop running around! DD had her school concert by Zoom, Click and collects all done, I think I have everything, DS had a bit of a crisis but that all sorted, M&S done today, DD met up with her friend today and delivered some presents. DD has been doing loads of baking on her respite days so came home with a hamper of baked goods. I spent that day wrapping her presents.

All I got to do now is to wrap a few family presents and we are delivering those tomorow after walking the dog, and off to B&Q and Lidl - DD wants a Lidl garlic chicken for Christmas Day.
Friday - up early for a quick asda run and deliver a few last bits to other side of town. We having picky tea Christmas Eve as our Chinese gets way too busy and even picking up takes hours! Then the wait for bedtime!

I'm nearly all done! I had my booster sunday and I've had such bad cold and flu since then (pcr negative) but I forced myself to clean downstairs today and upstairs is all sorted 👍.

Tomorrow I plan on baking cookies with DD and just 2 small gifts to wrap that I bought extra for DS and then its doorstep deliveries of gifts.

All I need to do other than that is put some washing away that's drying (i like the house to be spotless on christmas eve), probably hoover one more time and tomorrow Hubby collects our M&S dinner 😁. Then its ALL done 🙌🙌

I’m virtually done we’ve just got back from a couple of days away so made sure most things were sorted before we left.

I have a couple of things to wrap that came while we were away and need to pick up a few fresh bits like bread & milk tomorrow but I’ll get those from the local Tesco express store but that’s about it


I did order a few things that haven’t even been dispatched yet despite ordering in plenty of time for pre Xmas delivery so can’t see them coming in time now. I picked up an alternative gift over the weekend just in case so it’s not as good but It will have to do.

DD present has been posted and arrived yesterday
DS and partner have dollars as we are hopefully flying to Florida on 01/01/22 for 2 weeks.
It’s my postponed 60th birthday trip
Planning on blitzing the house for a good clean on Christmas Eve
Cooking for 6 Christmas Day then working 26th & 27th off 28th working 29th then off on A/L.

I finished work yesterday so today is food shop (about to go out now at 6:30am) then home and cleaning to do. Set up bedroom for mum staying, wrap a present the DH produced yesterday evening for his mum and then relax later.

Christmas Eve I’ll set the table, prep the potatoes and carrots and collect mum.

Cooking Christmas Day for 6, then just me, DH and mum on Boxing Day then cooking for 5 on Monday (in laws).
