As a staff member Iíve been told no isolation and back to normal sickness rules. Ie. Only stay home if you are too sick to work.

My kids school hasn't said anything about LFT's but got an e mail yesterday from Test register asking for their results so I made them both do one this morning.

Also wanted to make sure that they were clear as the wife has caught it again

DD was doing them daily since Christmas, but now if they meant to be getting on with trying to live normally with covid seems a waste of time. I will go with once a week unless told otherwise then!

This is the same as the school my husband teaches at. He's back after half term today and they've also been told not to continue with the twice weekly LFT's.

Mine were back in school last week after half term and we had a letter to say they no longer need to do asymptomatic testing. I guess it is school dependent though.

We had an email at the weekend saying that they were stopping the twice weekly testing as of now, and that the law says you do not have to isolate if positive, but they would prefer students to still stay off if positive to save everyone else, but they cannot enforce that unfortunately

My DD at high school has the tests loaded on the school system before half term (ours was last week) and testing ending. She did her LFT yesterday as required but we wonít be doing any further now unless sheís symptomatic (she hasnít had Covid but is double vaccinated). No update from school as yet.
