Always 😊 I've got a soft brush for jacket tatties, gets off the dirt but leaves the skin on.

We just give them a bit of a rinse. Cooking will kill everything else.

I actually wash mine in washing up liquid - preferably anti bac. I do thoroughly rinse them.

I put spuds I am peeling in a sink with some water. Ones I am not peeling get a wash just in water and a brush (have a nail brush I use for veg)

For jackets I do what my grandad used to do, give them a quick wash, get some salt on my hands and rub it all over the skin.
I rub the skins (after a scrub) with olive oil and loads of coarse salt as my mother did
