Mobile Childrens Passport Validity

Hi, I think we should be ok but as anyone had experience of travelling to the USA with a childs passport that will expire soon after their leave date?

We leave the usa on the 30th of July and the childrens passport expires on the 9th of August.

From what Ive read there is no validity requirement between the USA and UK but just want to make sure. We have confirmed Esta's and all details updated with BA with no issues. But I just want to make sure.

Thanks

as you say, for uk passports it neess to be valid for the stay, no need for mo ths of passport validity post return.

We are travelling with a 2month valid passport on return and arent worried.

We travelled pre COVID with a short time left on DS passport.

You are fine. Relax and enjoy your holiday.

Thanks, I knew this a few weeks ago when I decided not to renew them due the wait times but for some reason talked myself into it being an issue!

All that happens is that the maximum length of time you can stay in the US for will be limited to the actual number of days left on the passport, ie up to the expiry date, rather than 90 days.
