Flew the Air Tanker from Manchester to Orlando last month and it had the usual seat back IFE and was scheduled to have it. Other than the absence of Premium Economy it was just like any other Thomas Cook flight.

Hi Steve, that may have been true for your flights, but on the day that the OP is flying Both the TC AT leases are flying out of MAN.
One to MCO with streaming IFE One to New York with full seatback IFE That’s where the confusion is happening, I think. BTW the Airtanker operated Airbus A330 with the seatback IFE is our preferred method of transatlantic crossing on an economy ticket. Comfy, clean and both the AT leases are the youngest planes on the TC fleet |

Flew with Thomas Cook on Airtanker from Manchester in May, it had seat back screens, good legroom and great service. Food was better than with Virgin.
The return flight, also Airtanker, had no seat back screens, just screens above the center seats, about every 4 or 5 rows. Difficult to watch if you are sitting near the windows and people are standing in the aisles, We had preloaded the App for streaming IFE, but the WiFi was not operating during the flight, so nothing could be streamed. Our Air Tanker flight yesterday did have IFE. The plane seemed new and much better than the one we flew on with BA last trip. Cabin crew were very lovely and even tried to rearrange seating once we were in the air to group some split families. Unfortunately we had a 3 hour wait at MCO so that was a rubbish end to a good flight (landed in a storm and we were held on the tarmac for ages along with other flights - there is construction work in the immigration hall at the moment and the baggage area just couldn't cope with the rush). Only flown BA and Virgin before but TC were excellent yesterday.
