OOOO sorry another universal question

I am pretty much confident I will book my one week onsite Universal hotel next year (waiting for quotes from your recommendations) but I have priced up what I spent on food last time for a week, what I would like to spend on food and now number crunching think the full dining plan will be good value for me, but now cannot find how much this will cost?

Can anyone tell me the cost and who I should be booking this through?

I can break down where I def will be eating if anyone want to compare where they will also want to eat

Sarah

Having just spoke to them, you need to (in my case) to select full dining package for 7 adults and this gives you your 7 nights of dining. (God forbid a party of 6)
I have to trade in my dining plan for a dining card at the first place I use it for the rest of my trip. (That's useful NOT)
Then I can do and use what and how I want with the rest of my meals, snacks, sit downs etc.
Honestly I know they don't want to be Disney followers, but surely common sense tells them to load one thing with everything? Even if it;s still the card ticket!

Edited at 03:31 PM. Reason: Update on how to book!

I think and I'm not 100% that you need to book your hotel stay directly with Universal to get their full dining plan. Anyone can book their Quick Service plan through the Universal website at $23.99 per day per person. Its one quick service combo meal,1 snack, 1 drink. Its not a full plan like Disney. I have done it a few times. Pics in my food reports in my signature below.

Thank you, off later to read this lol
I do want the Full dining plan, hence why I asked for some expert advice, as I really don't find their booking website user friendly like Disney.
It lets me add full dining plan for 7 adults lol but not for one person for 7 nights

Are you a solo traveller? Is it giving you adult plan x 7? If so I think it’s because they are all transferable (Quick serve is anyway) so you would literally be buying 7 of the plans as you have 7 days?

Can you order anything from the menu with the full plan? I’ve never really looked into it.

I've been looking at the dining plans for my trip in September but they can't be used at any of the hotel restaurants so I'm going to pay for food out of pocket.

The only time I've ever bought a 'dining plan' in Universal was when they were doing them half price for AP holders during AP appreciation week around 4 years ago, it was 'just about' worth it for me & DS for the day. I wouldn't consider buying one at full price, better off to just pay as you go.
