Sue, I think the satnav was probaly fine all along, it was the users that were mostly to blame ( not that either of us admitted it at the time !)

The room and hotel were good - omg, the whole satnav thing, thats a holiday horror story in itself, fast forward to our trip to the Grand Floridian - now, how hard could that be when you are staying on property ...

 Well that was a funny old day wasn't it!? Was there any real reason the Sat Nav was playing up for you? Im worried now about ours working in San Fran! I guess a map alongside would be a good idea! Shame about the wait for car hire too! Yours is the second trippy I have read that says Alamo is ridiculously busy  Nightmare when you just want to get moving! I really wish I had booked with someone else now!Food in Hulas looks really good  Its officially on my plan but I think we may drive to it and then go for a wonder on food afterwards when we are back at the hotel. Love the seal lump photo

Oh I can imagine the frustration of going round in circles trying to get out of the city, but your hotel in Monterey looks to be a welcome respite on the stress of the day - it looks lovely.
