The final installment !

We are very touristy doing all the requisite snaps at Graumanns and after a while we feel we have done enough. In truth, we don’t really like it – its crowded, loud, dirty and tacky in the extreme. Its just not for us at all.

Arnie has small feet !

This was amazing, the drawing is actually made up from lines of writing from the Godfather - incredible to see close up

Charlie Chaplins hats and cane

Andy sizes up the Worlds Tallest Man

Still no sign of Tom Cruise - I am looking !

Well we came, we saw, we took a picture. I am sure that’s what the Romans would have done if they had Nikon’s in those days, much quicker and less painful than all that conquering business

We are not hungry and the boys want to go back – Andy fancies sampling some nightlife so we agree to split up – I go back with the boys and Andy will be back “in a bit” with some subs and donuts for a late dinner. ( its probably around 7- 7.30 now).

We get back – I do more laundry and even some ironing while we all watch Rush Hour – its quite funny. By 9 and with no sign of Andy , the boys forage in the hotel shop which sells snacks and drinks and we settle down to Rush Hour 2 , and that’s very funny as well. And that finishes and no sign of Andy .

So we settle in for bed , safe in the knowledge that he will be just fine at which point he barges in, shall we say, slightly merry , regaling us with tales of “only in Hollywood” type shenanigins that teenage boys really don’t need to know .

He then falls fast asleep and snores really loudly preventing the rest of us from getting any shut eye.

Oh, I did laugh

Ah well, its Universal tomorrow, an early start , a hot day, lots of walking and rides so wont he be chuffed when I wake him up ! They don’t call me Ming the Merciless for nothing

Yes Andy thinks its funny but its totally lost on the kids who dont really know about Flash Gordon ( I blame the parents).

To be fair, Andy is always ok the morning afte a night on the ale but it catches up with him later in the day and he knew he was on a loser if he did any complaining around Universal

Thanks - we were talking about our day in "Hollyweird" last night - quite an eye opening experience, the Oscars will never be the same again
