Airport Pub Manchester

Just wanted to say that we visited the Airport Pub on Ringway Road last night and had a fantastic experience. The pub has been recently refurbished and looks amazing with a huge garden and play area for the kids to let of some steam. Well worth a visit for anyone staying at the Airport the night before.

When we arrived there was a family just leaving who were very obviously going to Florida. The dad was dressed head to foot in the Stars and Stripes! When we spoke to them, the wife also loudly proclaimed that he had also had false nails put on specially for the holiday.

Forgot to ask if that family were DIBB'ers but if they were then I'm sorry but it made me laugh ALOT! I am guessing with that start they are going to have a brilliant holiday

I've not been to that pub sine I was a kid. Do you get a good view of planes? Might have to go for a trip out :-)

The garden was lovely with comfy sofas, a play area and a direct view of Terminal 3 and the runway. The waitress did say it gets packed out there on sunny days, especially weekends.

Is that the one you have to pay & display to park in? We haven't been for a while. Will go back and give it a go.

We did have to pay, don't know how much as DD sorted it. Not sure if you can claim it back though (we didn't think about it until after we got home )

What's the pub called? Is the food reasonably priced?
