Try The Brasco Lounge for breakfast or lunch, good food and very reasonable and only a short walk from Albert Dock

I know., we wanted to go away for a few days but last minute decided not to go too far. We will probably end up in Nando’s We do go to Liverpool quite often but stay with the old faithfuls that we know. I can keep these restaurant suggestions for another time.

I agree with Brasco Lounge, really good food. Honest burgers is also really good and 5 Guys used to be a favourite of ours.

You could venture out of the city centre to Lark Lane, it's only a few minutes away by taxi. I got in at the Chinese place Chy for bank holiday Monday no problem. There are plenty other good places the,re, including Polydor and Marrantos

The Bluecoat bistro is good value but don’t know if it’s open. It’s close to Primark
