Travel to Oakland Airport Car Rentals

I've discovered I can save £100 (25%) by moving my car pick up from union square to Oakland airport.
This seems like a good idea as it's the direction we'll be heading (Yosemite) and I won't need to drive at all in San Fran. I also prefer the idea of an airport rental location with more chance of car choice.

Supposedly it's a BAART train with 1 change 40mins and will cost about $8 each total
Does anyone know if the car rental place is easy to find from the BAART station?

The cheapest way (depending how many in your party) is to take the BART to Coliseum station and jump on the route 73 terminal bus to the airport then pick up the rental car bus but this will take a lot of time. The easiest way is to take a taxi/uber from the BART station to the rental car center. It's not within walking distance.

Thats great thanks, checking rome2rio it doesn't look too expensive to use uber from coliseum direct to the rental garage, so that sounds perfect. Adding it all up, I can even upgrade the car and still save £60
