East and west coasts

We are thinking of a combined trip, probably taking in San Francisco and Orlando our next trip.

I’d welcome advice on whether it would be better to start on the west coast then go to Orlando or start in Orlando and end the trip in San Francisco.

That is the best from a flight and time zone point of view?

If it was me, I’d start West and work backwards so jet lag on the return was less bad. But you could argue it the other way!

And... I know you didn’t ask this and you’ve maybe done the West Coast to death already... but have you thought about forgetting Orlando entirely? There is SO MUCH to see and do in California and since visiting there we have much preferred our trips there to Florida. Even with three week trips we run out of time

I would want to start in Orlando because as I much prefer California and I would want to save the best until last. Although maybe try pricing up both options as there may be a discrepancy in price depending on the weeks you choose.
