15th July for me. I cannot wait to go back to my usual pixie cut as I’m starting to resemble cousin It!

I must have had some strange foresight in March as I booked for 4th July!
Apparently I am the first customer in at 08:30 tomorrow morning , if this has taught me one thing its that I do not need to go every six weeks and spend £60-£70 , I am hoping they have not put the prices up too much as they have already put them up twice this year before LD |

I had mine done last week, my friend is my hairdresser and she came to visit me for the first time last Friday since the beginning of February, she just happened to have her hairdressing stuff with her 😳It's amazing how much a colour and cut makes a difference to how you feel.

I'm starting to feel jealous of you all 😂
Urgh and I hate that any day now DH is going to want me to get the clippers out again. |

Got my appointment july 11th, hasnt been done since January and as its long and colour is near enough mine anyway it doesnt seem desperate. Guess a fresh cut and colour might cheer me up a bit. I am a bit nervous to go, dont like the wearing a mask situation.

Today I left the house for the first time in three months (other than to walk the dogs to the field and back) in order to get a skin patch test, the hairdressers requires everyone to do this ahead of their appointment (I don’t understand why). My appointment is on Tuesday at 2:30pm. I have told DH to book a half day off so we can really make a (half) day of it.
After my skin patch test, I went into a mini grocery store, it is called “Spar” but it is like a really posh version of the Spar I remember and not supermarket size. I did not know what to do as DH has always done the shopping, there were people in front of me stopped looking at things and I didn’t know if I was allowed to pass them. I told them this was my first time in a shop and we had a bit of a laugh. Edited at 05:01 PM. |
