At least 20 people swimming yesterday the only one in a wetsuit was my 11 year old and that was under protest

Yes I’m a wild swimmer and paddleboarder and continue through the winter.
Was in the reservoir yesterday, my family think I’m nuts to be fair they are right, but I love it !

Photo from last week, 8.5 watertemp my little ducky said !

Off to the sea now the storm made it to dangerous at our normal time, we had a buoy 200m out but it was blown away a few weeks ago a and that had the thermometer on it so no idea of water temp but single digits I reckon

We live in Pittenweem - you’ll be pleased to know the sea pool is being refurbished! We had a walk past it this morning - sunny but a biting wind off the sea.

Yes, but I’m not near the sea. I usually go swimming in a local reservoir but once the temp goes below double figures I’m out. I’ll be back in around April.
