Only needed the outward bound leg of the flight in UC because I had already booked UC for the return journey at the time when I rebooked. At that time (last week) the outward bound journey was stupid money so I booked PE got the upgrade today at £398/person so for DW and myself £796 total one way.

I think upgrades will only show up if available on the flight and does depend on the type of ticket you bought.

They also come and go at times. Perhaps you could ring them and see if available

After reading your post I checked my miles PE flights & have upgraded outbound to UC for 22,400 & £145 total
In normal times was seeing 40,000 each to upgrade
Never flown UC so really looking forward to it
