I'm reading yours now haha! What a great first day, I can't believe you stayed out so late, never mind the kids I'm normally flagging by about 8pm!

Aww how cute is Kieran? He reminds me of my 6 year old, he appreciates everything and tells me I'm the best mum in the world. Polar opposite to his older brother 🙄🙄

Hi, great report, I see you went for 21 days so did you take your children out of school? Onlynasking as I don't see a problem with it for a short time but did you have any problems doing so if that is what you did? Thanks

We used the Easter holidays and took them out of school an additional 8 working days. I know it's a contraversial subject on here but much easier for us Scots. I wrote a nice letter asking permission and got a nice one back saying whilst holidays in term time are not ideal, permission granted and have a lovely holiday. I did get the kids to catch up on what they missed when they got back by going over their friends jotters etc.

This year Hannah is in 2nd year so we have only taken her out the last 4 days of term instead of Easter. She was already watching films, drawing pictures and having 'free periods' by the time we left, so I'm not torturing myself over it.
