MNSSHP - is there a best day?

We are thinking of doing the MNSSHP when we visit late sept-early october. Are any of the dates less crowded or better for any other reason? We are not sure if some days of the week are better/busier for any reason. Thanks is advance for any suggestions!

Mid-week is generally quieter, as locals (or domestic travellers heading out for a long weekend only) will typically go on one of the weekend dates rather than a school night. I don't know the party days off the top of my head, but I'd say either a Tuesday or Wednesday night would be the least booked in a normal week with September being quieter than October.

Tuesdays are always recommended as the quietest days.

Slight tangent, but do the dates in August tend to be busier/quieter? The only date we could go is Tuesday 28th but not sure how busy it is likely to be. Thanks
