It seems to have been updated now!

The park hours don't seem entirely correct though, i.e. Hollywood Studios closing at 20:00 but Fantasmic at the same time. Have the park hours just not been updated yet?

Fantasmic can also be after park closing. i.e. 8:30pm with an 8pm close.

For instance. This month the park closes at 9pm but the Star Wars fireworks are not until 9:15pm.

Park closing means the rides close at that time. It doesn't mean everyone has to get out the park. They will let you join a queue for a ride at 7:59pm and it might take you 30 to 40 minutes to get on the ride. Also the shops stay open for about an hour after official closing.

But there is no doubt that the park hours will be extended nearer the time. So they are only a guide for now.

Ahh, I didn't realise that happened so thanks.

Do you know what the deal is with the Star Wars show? It's missing going back some months. Has it been stopped or Disney just not updated yet?

Only up to July at the moment. They only add it a few months before.

Thanks for clearing this up, we had been wondering the same. 8pm seemed an early closing time for HS especially with Fantasmic/Star Wars fireworks in the evenings. It makes sense now. So the parks stay open until after the fireworks, do shops and places to eat stay open until after the fireworks too?

Yes. You can see on the park hours that certain stores stay open longer...

Less restaurants do but Sci-Fi Diner for instance does remain open until 9:30pm when the park closes at 9pm.
