Just ventured onto the fairytale weddings website... so much stuff! I think i will leave that lot to DGF to sort out if she says yes But doesnt look like you can get married on the castle stage? I need to seriously pick Sarah's brains and do some digging
You can get married at Disneyland California's castle
If my lotto numbers come out before my planned big day this is what my plans will be changing too as it's where we got engaged

You can still get married in front of the castle though at the Swan boat landing... just to the right.

BUT... it has to be between 8am and 10am and the venue alone is $28,000

You can do anything at Disney if you have the $$, and are prepared to do it late at night. There is another vow renewal I've read about which was backstage at MGM which is also stunning, they even had a private fireworks show.

The good news is that, if you want it, you can have the Cinderella carriage at an Escape wedding, as one of the optional upgrades

We didn't want a carriage but I did upgrade to a Model A Ford as a surprise for DH!

You should check out some of the other weddings featured on Carly's blog - it is really good reading.

How sweet are you? That's such a gorgeous idea! That wedding looks like it cost mega $$ though! If I had the money I would definitely consider something along those lines!

wow that looks gorgeous! It does show though you can do anything if you have enough money.

Do you think your dgf will want a disney wedding as she hasnt been to florida yet? Good luck with the proposal I'm sure that you will find something equally romantic...how lovely!

Also, DGF hasnt been to florida before, and i was hoping to make her first trip extra magical by proposing. (yes...i havnt even done that yet, and i am thinking about the wedding... this is still in the VERY early stages...)
There was a thing i was sure i read, that you could rent a horse and carriage at somewhere like port orleans with an appropriately dressed footman. Then you would stop in a secluded area and he/she would give the man a pillow with tiara and princess stick thingy. (cant remember what they are called!) who would then give it to the woman and propose... i thought that would be perfect as DGF has been nicknamed princess...(but thats a whole other story! ) But i cant find any info on that package now... anyone remember it, or know of something similar? Thanks!

Any advice/tips/info would be much appreciated. Remember im still in the ideas stage... dont go mentioning anything to DGF
Thanks!

Ps...weddings forum = great idea!

I just spent the evening reading about their wedding. Wow...
