My head is spinning at the moment with so many different things. I am about to compose an email to Helen at Elegant to ask her about changing quite a few things on the proposal.

Don't worry about changing things with Helen, she is very flexible.

We have paid our deposit and signed the agreement for the wedding but she says we can still make any changes we wish (changes to the venue and date/time would be difficult). I've already decided to add my BM in to have her hair and make up done as well as mine (but I might actually take both of us out and book Patricia LeJeune independently). I have also decided to take the flowers out of the package and will take my own real touch flowers with me instead.

Helen hasn't officially done anything about these yet as there is no need. But nearer the time she will revise the wedding agreement and amend the total cost (and therefore the balance).

She is really fab, and always answers emails quickly, which is a big help when you are trying to plan a wedding thousands of miles away!

yes Helen was good like that with us i had our hair booked but at the last minute decided i didnt want it done and she amended our plan quite easliy and i must say the company they use for the cake are brillant and the cake was yummy !

Have any of you who have booked with Helen negotiated a longer reception or are you happy with the standard four hours?
I have emailed her and am waiting for a reply.
