Alamo Sanford Car collection

I know that you have to use the Alamo kiosk or hire desk at Sanford even tho you do OLCI, but do you pick your car from a line just like MCO?

We have booked a STD SUV, but hoping to get a Truck ( or workers construction vehicle as TM puts it

).
A nice kitted F150 or Silverado would do nicely as there�s just two of us and our cases can go in the back seat area. I think the seat base folds up.
If we don�t get one, no big deal, but I find the seating position in a high vehicle helps my back.

When we used Sanford in 2016, Alamo staff members were guiding people to the cars. We weren't left to our own devices like at MCO. Having said that, we still had a choice. In fact we got a nice 'free' upgrade ($10 tip) on 'innocently' asking if we could have a car from the next class up ("oh I thought that car was in the class we booked. What a shame, I love that car" 😉 )

We flew into Sanford for the first t8me last year. Once we walked out of the office we just found our row and picked the car.

If you are used to mco like we are then it�s much more laid back in sanford. Was a nice experience, back to mco in April

The upgrade � tipper guys� seemed to all disappear sometime ago. Possibly due to them taking tips

It was reported on here at the time if I remember correctly. Some others may be able to confirm.
Anyway thanks for the info, I�m happy with my STD SUV booking, just hope there a truck in the line
