£247 for a 66 plate Nissan Juke 1.2 (highest spec) including business use and protected ncb, not too bad I don’t think.

UK tin box on wheels; 2008 Proton Gen-2, fully comp, protected NCB plus legal cover; £200. SORN'd/suspended car insurance in Nov, re-tax/insure in May. SORN/suspended refunds pay towards our Fl tin box on wheels insurance, circa $390 for 6 month.

I am 48, I have a two car policy that was about £650. It went down this year. We have a 2014 Audi Q3 and a 2006 Nissan micra.

I'm 38, husband is 33. Our multicar was £600 with Aviva this year for a 2012 Ford Fiesta and 2017 Hyundai I10.
Our previous renewal price with Admiral was £780, I refuse to overpay for my insurance and check premiums every year. |

We pay £201 for Car insurance in my name (42) with DH (45) as named driver. I priced it with him as the main driver and me as named, all other details exactly the same and quote was £420 . Seems unfair to him as he is a far better driver than me.
DD (17) is learning to drive and her insurance, with DH as a named driver, is £724 for a VW Up with 1 litre engine. |

Try living in Belgium where fully comp costs upwards of 920€ for 8 year old qashqai I’m 46 by the way and have full protected no claims.
My friend in her 50s pays 1500 for her new X3. Again with full no claims This is why I won’t buy Mercedes bmw or Volkswagen as they are highly targeted for theft here.

My eldest daughter, now 22, payed £667 fully comp for her 2017 Mini Cooper last year. She had a black box on her previous car but when she got a quote from Direct Line (who DW and I insure with) she found it was only £5 more and no black box, plus DW and I are named drivers. I was banned from driving her Toyota because she feared I'd mess up her black box score
