For my trip just gone, I spent quite a lot.

Me, on my own in a room (parents came with next door room too but I won’t tally them up.)

£1850 flights accommodation and insurance, transfers etc. That got me direct premium flights MAN to MCO, Royal Pacific for 2 weeks and the necessary extras.

Tickets:
£250ish for universal tickets, 2 park unlimited 14 Days. Got most use out of these.
£150ish for Disney tickets - 2 Days, bought here to sort fast passes out.
£75ish for seaworld ticket for the day
£450-500 on tickets all told.

$1600 in spending money (took more but didn’t use and changed back so won’t count.
£1300 call it.

So all told about £3500ish pounds for me. Parents probably less each but a bit more overall.

Funnily enough, I think I got a bargain for what I got. RPR is about £800 more now for next year. I’m so glad I booked before the dollar rate tanked.

For next July we’ve paid £995 each for direct flights, 4 bed villa and 7 seater car (5 adults), we will have 5 or 6 day Magic my way tickets so that’s around £300 each depending on exchange rate. We are hoping to take £2,500 spending money with us for 3 or us (the other two will have their own money). Just travel insurance to sort now so £1,295 each plus spends

I try to just concentrate on getting the best price for each part of the holiday ... and then try NOT to add it all up

We didn't set a budget. We did great until we started buying party tickets though

Too much...last years cost £9700 😳 I'm aiming for less next year, and then we're having a few years off big expensive holidays because £20k on holidays in 2 years (spent 4K on 2 weeks in Lanzarote this summer) is eye watering 😩

We try (being the operative word) to keep it to 6K if not doing any parks and having a relaxing one, although always end up doing something and 10k if doing parks etc... Having just come back from a Californian West Coast trip, our Florida holiday, non park holiday next August is a welocme on the wallet for hubby

If I stopped for a second and even thought about adding it up we wouldn’t go, and we want to go so don’t

So true. I've been told we need a few years off too. Well, maybe after next years

We've gone over budget but on individual stuff while on hols. Last trip we upgraded at the desk on arrival and got a really big, top of the range car so that was about 250 extra. I had bought 14day universal tickets but only one day at MK for Disney. We ended up buying one day tickets for Typhoon lagoon too because everyone wanted to go so much 😜. But we didn't shop as much as previous trip so maybe it evened out, I didn't check!
